Costs

Programme Fee

The fee for Work & Travel USA is RM 2,950.

The fee includes:

  • obtaining the required legal document for the programme (DS-2019 form)
  • assistance in visa application which includes preparing visa documents, scheduling visa interview and guidance through the process
  • job placement and contract confirmation
  • a pre-departure orientation
  • assistance services including 24 hour emergency support for the duration of the programme (through sponsors)
  • comprehensive medical insurance
  • SEVIS fee*

The fee is payable as follows:

Non-refundable deposit – on passing interview and signing Terms & Conditions RM 150
Programme fee – on finalising package of documents for DS-2019 (payable within 2 weeks of accepting job offer) RM 2,850

Visa fee and Air Tickets

The fee does not include the following:

  • visa fee and visa scheduling fee charged by the US embassy and VFS (RM 472)
  • flights to the USA (approx RM 4,000-5,500)

Other money to prepare

  • minimum of USD 500 (appx RM 1700) on arrival in the USA to cover initial expenses
